The entire loft has had plaster applied over the tension-screwed plasterboards.

Here a plasterer is smoothoing the plaster to give an even finish. Once dried the room is suitable for decorating - the client is decorating this loft themselves.

Plastering is demanding work! The plaster soon sets ('goes-off') once mixed and 2 coats and 3 smootings ('trowel-ups') with a wet brush and trowel are carried out in quick sucession. To completely plaster a large loft can take a day or so without a break.
