Droylesden DIY Pro-Starter Conversion

The large loft lends itself well to bedroom conversion. There is ample space for furniture and living and sloping ceilings add character. Furthermore, large skylights provide sufficient natural light whilst preserved beams acts as an attractive design feature.

We carried out the initial, more difficult stages of the conversion, such as the construction of stairs (BCO inspected) and installation of Velux skylights. However, the client wished the conversion to be a DIY project and wanted to complete the stud walls, insulation, boarding, plastering, skirting, fixtures and decorating himself.

We were happy to comply with the client's plans and offered our advice and guidance for after our role in the conversion was complete.
