Accrington Loft Conversion

An excellent picture of the double kite wind staircase. This choice of stairs was make because of insufficient space for a straight flight as the base the first stair would have been against the bottom wall and the top would have left little headroom. The alternative - an alternating staircase is scary for children because they are very steep and so they tend to descend backwards.
