Plasterboards and electrical sockets attached
Plasterboard is secured against the timber frame in such a way it will not loosen and crumble or break the plaster coating. In this storage loft there was no requirement for insulation between the plasterboard and roof tiles. If any loft is to be used for other than storage then it should be insulated to retain heat in winter and protect against heat produced by sun on the roof in summer. Power tools are essential when converting a loft. There is a significant amount or joinery work required -
