Small Bedroom

The pictures show a conversion to a Manchester loft in a terrace house, the actual conversion was slightly higher specification than basic, small loft however it indicates many of the features available.

This converted attic/loft is for use as a guest bedroom and so was made to regulations. The room later became the stylish main bedroom upon completion.

Our client already had building plans drawn up and organised the building regulations inspections himself, he was extremely pleased with the quality of his new room.

Originally there was a bedroom door but when pictures were taken it has been removed for convenience

The conversion required:

  1. Opening up of ceiling for stairs
  2. Construction of stairs and under stair area
  3. Electrical fixtures and fittings
  4. Timber stud walls either end
  5. Insulation of floor, walls ceiling
  6. Stairwell truncating and turning into a ledge
  7. Opening of roof and installation of Velux window
  8. Plastering, framing and skirting
  9. Final electrical fix
