Loft Office

The pictured example show the process of conversion, from unused and poorly insulated end of terrace attic, to a clean, light and accessible loft space.

The client requested a basic loft for use as storage area and workspace.

The solution was a deluxe storage loft conversion tailored to individual requirements. For example, the knee-wall storage areas were added and doors fitted, a built in storage cabinet was added and so was a fixed, pull down/retractable ladder.

The building work required:

  1. Opening up of a wider and more conveniently placed loft hatch
  2. Fixing of suspended floor to maximise the available headroom
  3. Laying and insulation of new floor to take additional weight
  4. Building of stud walls for plasterboards
  5. Building and fitting of knee walls, cupboards and built in cupboard
  6. Opening of roof and fixing of new Velux window
  7. Plastering, framing and skirting
  8. Final electrical fix

The client is delighted with the conversion and had displayed their own images on their website.
